Your average BloodBowl player has probably found that on occasion they need to select a player at random from one of the teams, e.g. for the thrown rock kick off event, or when awarding the MVP at the end of a match.
Seeing as most teams will have players numbered from 1 up to 16, a D16 would be the ideal dice to use in this scenario but, in my experience at least, hardly any BloodBowl players own one.
Luckily, every BloodBowl player will have at least a D6 and a D8 knocking about so I’d like to share this handy hint for how to emulate a D16 with these two dice.
Just roll the D6 and the D8. If the D6 roll is a 1 – 3, the result on the D8 stands. If the D6 roll is 4 – 6, add 8 to the D8 result.
