My dwarf team was about to score the winning touchdown in a brutal match in which all but one of their human opponents had left the field. In a rare display of sportsmanship, I couldn’t be bothered fouling the one remaining human lying prone on the pitch. Perhaps I should have, maybe he would have left the pitch alive.
In the final turn of the game, the blitzer got to his feet, dodged away from his markers and charged back in for a two dice uphill block against my troll slayer. The troll slayer killed him. Then the apothecary killed him again. Not often that you see a player get himself killed and pitch clear his own team in the process. How I laughed.
